How do you make an illustrated book of 16 pages, extremely original, in just one day, without having any idea of the story to work on? Guido Scarabottolo’s workshop is everything you need to find the answer and make the book done.
Five title pages, five fonts, ten hands, one lyric: Mattia, Stefano, Regina, Alice, Tavit e Federico are facing the challenge of making fifteen original illustrations each. The project is being realized “in the dark”, without knowing the reference text that will only be revealed at the end of the workshop. It is a lyric, widely known by Italian, and not only, people, loved or hated by students, reminisced about by adults, and reinterpreted depending on times and places.
