Siamo felicissimi di invitarvi VENERDI’ 29 settembre alle 16,30 all’inaugurazione della mostra sulla vita di Miecio Horszowski.
La Casa della Musica ci ha chiesto di realizzare una Guida illustrata a fumetti le cui tavole accompagnano anche il percorso espositivo della mostra. Per progettare e costruire la nostra Guida a fumetti, abbiamo chiamato l’artista Martina Sarritzu che ha guidato magistralmente gli artisti del nostro atelier nella creazione di tantissime tavole dedicate alla vita di Miecio, dall’infanzia fino ai suoi ultimi giorni di vita. Oltre a tavole originali con illustrazioni dedicate alle 9 tappe in cui è suddivisa la mostra, gli artisti di Artètipi hanno utilizzato anche stampe e fotografie d’epoca prese dall’archivio di famiglia, vecchie foto delle città in cui Miecio ha vissuto e studiato e immagini originali dei concerti eseguiti nei teatri più famosi del mondo. Gli artisti sono partiti dalle fonti storiche e biografiche per poi sviluppare la ricerca, immedesimandosi nel personaggio, per restituire allo spettatore e lettore della guida le emozioni, le paure e le vicissitudini interiori dell’essere umano, arrivando così a trasmettere i contenuti della mostra in un linguaggio di immagini, forme e colori veramente autentico e arcaico, che necessita di poche o nessuna parola. Martina ha organizzato il lavoro seguendo come traccia le 9 tappe della mostra, ma indagando la complessità e la quotidianità del pianista geniale. Oltre a diventare una ricerca occasionalmente autobiografica, ciascun artista ha interpretato tutta la vita di Miecio Horzowski con la propria sensibilità e creatività, con la cifra stilistica e la tecnica che gli è propria, restituendo disegni, forme, segni e schizzi così intimi e personali che sembrano spiati direttamente dai singoli istanti della vita vera di Miecio. Il risultato è un linguaggio netto e primordiale che parla indistintamente a tutti la lingua dei sogni.

The Casa della Musica asked us to create an illustrated comic Guide whose tables also accompany the exhibition itinerary.
To design and build our comic guide we called the artist Martina Sarritzu who masterfully guided the artists of our atelier in the creation of many panels dedicated to Miecio’s life, from childhood to his last days of life.
In addition to original plates with illustrations dedicated to the 9 stages into which the exhibition is divided, the Artetipi artists also used vintage prints and photographs taken from the family archive, old photos of the cities in which Miecio lived and studied and images originals of concerts performed in the most famous theaters in the world.
The artists started from historical and biographical sources and then developed the research by identifying themselves with the character to convey to the spectator and reader of the guide the emotions, fears and internal vicissitudes of the human being, thus arriving at transmitting the contents of the exhibition in a language of truly authentic and archaic images, shapes and colors, requiring few or no words.
Martina organized the work following the 9 stages of the exhibition as a guide, but investigating the complexity and everyday life of the brilliant pianist.
In addition to becoming an occasionally autobiographical research, each artist has interpreted Miecio Horzowski’s entire life with their own sensitivity and creativity, with their own stylistic code and technique, rendering drawings, shapes, signs and sketches so intimate and personal that they seem to be spied directly from individual moments of Miecio’s real life. The result is a clear and primordial language that speaks the language of dreams to everyone without distinction.
